2022 residential courses postponed and work underway to reopen as soon as possible

Coláiste Aoidh Mhic Bhricne has taken the decision to postpone the upcoming 2022 summer Gaeltacht residential courses. There has been many factors to deal with over the past 24 months, with Covid, and with many of our local families taking a break or retiring after several decades of keeping students, we find ourselves without an adequate number of beds and houses to organise a full course.

We continue to explore the options of running a day course without residency for the 2022 summer. Keep an eye out on our social media for further info on those camps.

Our attention now turns to recruiting new houses, bean an tí’s / fear an tí’s and new local families to keep students in the years ahead. We are incredibly proud of our long-standing tradition of providing summer Gaeltacht courses for almost 70 years, and we aren’t planning on stopping here.

Keep an eye out for further information, opportunities and events on our website and our social media.

We will be back…
